I'm a tinkerer and I love the gadgets and gizmos that seem to be exploding onto the market these days. I worked for several years in the world of retail electronics and telecommunications sales and that experience thoroughly wet my appetite for the "real" story behind all the PR campagins that so many companies launch. I like to delve into the background of the hardware, find out who makes the stuff, how far a long prototypes and projects are; why certain products make it to market and why others don't.
